Benteke is placed third in the overall list with 25 headed goals during spells with Aston Villa, Liverpool and Crystal Palace. At 6 ft 3, he literally stands tall in the box and can match most centre backs when leaping.

He is in Belgium’s squad for the World Cup despite a dismal performance last season. Part of the reason for his inclusion in the squad is his good goal return of 12 goals in 32 appearances for his country.

On September 24, 2016, he scored a 94th minute headed winner as Crystal Palace recovered from two goals down to seal a 3-2 win against Sunderland. In December 2017, he headed in the opening goal as Palace ended a lengthy winless spell away from home with a comfortable 3-0 win over Leicester City.
