#3 Alisson Becker - 10
Alisson Becker has arguably been the best goalkeeper in the Premier League recently. He has double the number of clean sheets as Manchester United shot-stopper David de Gea. The Brazilian has had to bail out his high-line defence on several occasions this term.
The Liverpool goalkeeper has conceded just 17 goals in 20 appearances. In contrast, De Gea has let in 30 goals in 22 United games. Alisson keeps a clean sheet every second match, while de Gea provides a shutout once in 4-5.
Alisson was nominated for The Best FIFA Goalkeeper award along with Edouard Mendy and Gianluigi Donnarumma. The former Yashin trophy winner has been extremely consistent since his €62.5 million move from AS Roma.
#2 Aaron Ramsdale - 10
Like Alisson, Aaron Ramsdale has also kept ten clean sheets in the league this season. The Arsenal goalkeeper ranks higher, as he has played two fewer games than his Liverpool counterpart. Ramsdale has been a fabulous signing for the Gunners in all regards. His mentality and attitude were previously lacking in the Arsenal dressing room.
The former Bournemouth shot-stopper has made 51 saves, and has a save percentage of 80.9 this season. Although fans and critics expected him to play second fiddle to German international Bernd Leno, Ramsdale has established his authority between the sticks.
Having conceded a mere 16 goals, Ramsdale has been one of the best goalkeepers this campaign. Soon he could startschallenging Jordan Pickford for the first-choice England goalkeeper spot.
#1 Ederson Moraes - 12
Ederson Moraes has kept 12 clean sheets in the Premier League this season, seven more than Manchester United’s De Gea has managed. The 28-year-old has won the Premier League Golden Glove award in the last two seasons.
The Brazilian shot-stopper is renowned for his immense passing ability. Although he doesn’t face as many shots as De Gea, Ederson’s slightly superior save percentage of 73.5 proves his quality. Ederson recently kept a sheet clean in the 2-0 derby win over Manchester United.
Since the start of the 2019-20 season, no Premier League goalkeeper has kept more clean sheets than Ederson’s tally of 47. In contrast, during the same period, Manchester United’s David de Gea has only kept 27 shutouts.
