Salah broke the Premier League goalscoring record on the final matchday of the season
Salah might not have been able to win anything as a team, but he broke some records that were previously held by top legends of the game. One of those accolades was the Premier League goalscoring record.

The most amount of goals scored by a single individual in a Premier League season of 38 matches was 31 until last season. Until Salah took the league by storm. This record was held by three top players by the names of Alan Shearer, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez.
It was this record that Salah made to his name with ease. Or at least made it look like he did it with ease. In any of the three seasons prior to the last one, Harry Kane's tally of 30 would have been enough to claim the golden boot, but Salah's brilliance took away the England forward's chance to take home the award for the third time in a row.
