There have been very few strikers like Henrik Larsson in world football in the last 20 years. He had a brilliant header, was a swift mover inside the penalty box and could score from a seemingly awkward position. He also played for big clubs like Barcelona, Manchester United and Celtic quite successfully.

Larsson would be remembered primarily for his wonderful exploits for the Scottish club Celtic. He made Celtic a force in European football, and remains one of their finest footballers of all time. Larsson also played for Barcelona from 2004 to 2006 and scored some very important goals for them.
However, his best night in football came in the Champions League final in 2006, when he was instrumental in Barcelona’s victory over Arsenal, and was arguably the best player on the pitch. He also played for Manchester United for a solitary season on loan and won the Premier League with them.
Larsson scored 134 goals in 341 matches in his club career and won 2 LaLiga, 1 Premier League and 1 UEFA Champions League title. He also scored 29 goals in 86 matches for the Swedish national team and was a member of the bronze medal winning side in the 1994 World Cup.

Subhadeep Roy
Subhadeep, an adept tennis journalist at Sportskeeda, has been writing about the sport for seven years. He is known for his exclusive match reviews and opinion pieces, utilizing his MBA degree to tackle them effectively with his problem-solving abilities.
Subhadeep lives and breathes tennis. He watches matches regularly and engages in social media platforms to stay on top of the latest happenings. As a writer, he brings the fan's perspective to his pieces, ensuring his readers enjoy an exceptional experience every time.
Growing up, he idolized Boris Becker, but he now firmly believes Novak Djokovic stands alone as the 'Greatest of all Time', especially considering the 24-time Grand Slam champion's incredible stats. One thing that still puzzles Subhadeep, however, is how Becker's Wimbledon tally might have reached five if not for Pete Sampras.
Speaking of the All England Club, the British Major holds a special place in his heart as he admires its blend of tradition and grass-court excellence. When not working for Sportskeeda, Subhadeep delves into the other "love of his life": football, and enjoys contributing his insights to different websites dedicated to the sport.
