#3 Carlos Soler (Valencia)
Five games, three goals and two assists are enough to place Valencia's Carlos Soler in the third spot on our list.
Soler and his team were cruising comfortably in La Liga until last week when they welcomed Real Madrid to Mestalla. In an unfortunate incident, we saw Soler limping off the field just 15 minutes into the game.
Carlos Soler, who has been in electric form since the start of the 2021/22 season, was handed the captain's armband in the absence of José Gayà but sadly, he couldn't continue much.
Valencia are working hard to bring their in-form player back as quickly as possible. The 24-year-old can certainly help his side secure a comfortable position way up the table.
#2 Vinicius Jr. (Real Madrid)
Vinicius Jr.'s impression at the Santiago Bernabeau seems to have changed within the snap. From being harshly criticized for poor finishing to seeing him contribute towards the goal on a regular basis, the Madridistas have started to bestow their faith upon the Brazilian.
Real Madrid have never failed to deploy a speedster down the flanks. From Cristiano Ronaldo, Angel Di Maria, Gareth Bale and now to Vinicius, the Spanish giants have maintained the tradition. However, unlike his predecessors, Vini took quite some time to settle in.
In fact, the Brazilian youngster had to wait until Carlos Ancelotti's arrival to bring out the best in him. The 21-year-old has found the net five times (from 5 matches) already. He has also registered a crucial assist.
His best performances came against Valencia and Levante. He helped Real Madrid seal the deal in the dying minutes with a goal and an assist vs Valencia.
#1 Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)
The departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale's inconsistency resulted in Benzema finding himself alone upfront with a bunch of newbies. In addition, another responsibility — of leading the team — was added to the Frenchman's shoulders after Sergio Ramos' shocking exit.
Nonetheless, nothing seems to have affected Benzema's form. In fact, he has taken it up a notch and is not just one of the best players in La Liga but across Europe right now.
Karim Benzema has been directly involved in 11 Real Madrid goals (six goals, five assists) from five games. Benzema's best evening so far this season came against Celta Vigo, where he scored a hat-trick.
The Real Madrid number 9 is a strong contender for Pichichi this term.
