4) Thierry Henry

Thierry Henry was known to be quite a reserved player off the pitch and he was also the victim of an interruption during a press conference. Ahead of a Champions League clash, the former Arsenal and Barcelona star had to stop mid-sentence as the interference from the phone just could not be ignored.

The caller simply refused to hang up until someone answered the call and that is when the press officer suggests Henry should pick up the call. Henry obliges and even switches on the loudspeaker so everyone in the room can hear the conversation.

The caller’s question is inaudible, presumably asking the owner of the phone if he was meeting him, but Henry says” Maybe, but I’ll call you later... We’re doing Thierry Henry. So I’ll call you after, yeah?”
