The Liverpool fans had thought that their title drought will finally end under Brendan Rodgers. In the 2013-14 season, it was one of the closest title race the Premier League had seen in the last few years. Liverpool were leading the table by five points with three games to go, and next up was Jose Mourinho's Chelsea at Anfield.
No one can ever forget Steven Gerard's slip which led to Demba Ba's goal, as it became one of the most talked about moment on social media. Willian capped up the second goal for Chelsea in stoppage time, after Fernando Torres broke through on a counter attack and squared the ball to him for an easy finish.
What followed again was a trademark Jose Mourinho celebration, he ran across to the sidelines and screamed with passion and constantly thumped on his chest where the Chelsea badge was present. One never knew that was it a moment of passion or showmanship but it never went well the proud supporters of Liverpool.
Eventually, it was Manchester City who had lifted the title but this moment will always be remembered by both Chelsea and Liverpool fans for different reasons.
