#3: Karim Benzema scores in 15th consecutive UEFA Champions League season
Karim Benzema became the first player since Lionel Messi to score in 15 consecutive UEFA Champions League campaigns when the Frenchman netted twice in Real Madrid's 6-0 win over Turkish side, Galatasaray.
Benzema scored his first goal in the competition for Olympique Lyonnais in a 2-1 win over Rosenborg in 2005-06, scoring a total of 12 goals in three seasons for the French club before moving to Real Madrid in the summer of 2008-09.
Benzema's 62 goals in the competition is the most ever by any player, after Cristiano Ronaldo (128) and Lionel Messi (113).
