In spite of being eliminated from the Champions League 4-3 on aggregate, Juventus did beat Real Madrid 3-1 on the night. The result meant that this was the third time that the Old Lady has beaten the Los Blancos at the Santiago Bernebau, in Europe.
No other team has beaten Madrid at their home thrice in Europe. Juve's previous two wins at the Bernebau came in the 1961/62 European Cup and the 2008/09 Champions League campaign. Their previous meeting in Spain saw Massimiliano Allegri's men hold onto a 1-1 draw, ensuring qualification to the final of the 2015 Champions League.
But, this win will hold very little value as the Bianconeri were knocked out due to a controversial refereeing decision in the last minute of the game while Gianluigi Buffon was sent off.
