#3 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal)
Arsenal's season was already falling apart before the January transfer window came around as the team were already outside the top four with minimal hope for the title or making the top four.
The 28-year-old Gabonese international was brought in from Borussia Dortmund as an uplifting signing for the team following the acrimonious departure of Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United.
His presence lifted the team as his pace, finishing and generally, unselfish play gave the team a new attacking dimension. It is expected that this brilliance will become even more pronounced in his first full season in English football.
New manager Unai Emery is expected to give the Gabonese the perfect platform to wreak havoc. With Mesut Ozil and Henrik Mkhitaryan expected to play behind him and put balls to his feet, Aubameyang's pace, skill, and strength mean that he will be able to get into good goalscoring positions.
Already drawing favourable comparisons to Gunners legend Thierry Henry, his ability to drift to the left and still score/create many goals means Emery would be able to field Alexandre Lacazette alongside Aubameyang.
