5 Liverpool players who should move in the January transfer window

Tranmere Rovers v Liverpool - Pre Season Friendly
It is time Markovic found himself a new home.

#4 Danny Ward

Sheffield Wednesday v Huddersfield Town - Sky Bet Championship Play Off Semi Final: Second Leg
Ward has failed to displace the erratic duo of Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius as Liverpool's Numero Uno.

Contrary to the common belief amongst the Liverpool faithful that Danny Ward is the long-term solution to the goalkeeping problem at the club, we, for one believe that the goalkeeper might not be the right man.

For beginners, the Welshman is already 25 years old and while that is considerably young when you happen to be a goalkeeper, he is actually as old as Loris Karius on whom Jurgen Klopp has invested time and money upon.

That brings us to the all-important question, will Danny Ward ever get a chance to prove himself to Klopp? The answer is no and for that situation to reverse itself, Ward will need to prove his mettle in the top flight of a competitive league.

We believe he missed a glorious opportunity to remain at Huddersfield for another season, especially after his heroics in the last season (He kept 12 clean sheets in 43 last season and was instrumental in Huddersfield gaining promotion) as he could have had better chances of playing regularly with the Terriers and is currently restricted to making appearances for the club’s U-23 side.

However, all is not lost for the former Wrexham man who could still force his way into the footballing limelight for he has shown that he possesses the requisite technical expertise.

All he needs now is regular game time and Ward will need to ensure that he is on the move to a club in the upcoming transfer window to get his development as a goalkeeper back on track.
