#2 Luis Alberto

One of the three Spanish players on this list, Alberto joined Liverpool from Barcelona B in the summer of 2013. He came to Anfield with a good reputation but failed to adjust to the physicality and pace of the English top flight.
He played only nine games for the Reds and joined the Spanish side, Malaga on-loan after a year. He did well during his loan spell in LaLiga but didn't do enough to impress his coaches back at Anfield. He was sent on loan to LaLiga once again but, this time to Deportivo La Coruna.
Alberto permanently left Liverpool in 2016 and joined the Serie A club, Lazio. He didn't get many chances to play during his first season at the club and managed to play only nine league games. However, things started to change for him in the next season and he started impressing fans with his performances.
The Spanish international scored eight goals during the 2017-2018 season and finished as the assist king of the Serie A with 14 assists. His performances in the league also caught the attention of the then Spanish manager, Julen Lopetegui, who handed him his first senior cap in November 2017.
