Eddie Howe - the most recent recepient of the award

They say that in a game of chess if the pieces are handled by a good player, one can win the game with a single pawn; same is the case with football. A good manager doesn't need superstars in his team to win a game, a mediocre team too can do wonders if managed by the right manager. We remember what Claudio Ranieri did with Leicester City all too well.

The Premier League Manager of the Month award is the award given to the best manager each month of the season and is awarded on the first or second Friday of the following month.

The inaugural recipient of the PL Manager of the Month was the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson in August 1993. He has won this award numerous times since then. Harry Redknapp is the only manager to have won this award with six different sides. The most recent recipient of this award is Eddie Howe of AFC Bournemouth as of January 2018.

In the world of football, there are many managers who have done wonders by getting the best out of each player, and subsequently making the entire team stronger. While there are numerous managers who have won the PL Manager of the Month award, let us look at the managers who have won the award the most number of times.
