#1 Sir Alex Ferguson
The former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson is regarded as one of the best and most successful managers of all time.
Ferguson started his managerial career with East Stirlingshire in 1974 before departing for St. Mirren in the following season. He was very impressive in his spell with St. Mirren, before joining Aberdeen in 1978. His start at Aberdeen was poor but he eventually improved with time and led Aberdeen to glory in the UEFA Cup.
Aberdeen won three Scottish Premier Division during his eight years spell at the club. He also managed the Scottish National Team between 1985 and 1986.
Sir Alex Ferguson joined Manchester United in 1986 and that was the start of the 'golden era' at the Old Trafford. He spent 26 years with the Red Devils - winning 38 major trophies with the club, including 13 Premier Leagues and two UEFA Champions League titles.
Sir Alex Ferguson has won the PL Manager of the Year award 11 times and the PL Manager of the Month award a whopping 27 times.
