#2 Micheal Owen
Micheal Owen began his career with Liverpool before moving to Real Madrid for a short stint. The Englishman moved back to the Premier League with Newcastle after injury derailed his Spanish spell. During his time at the Toon, injury worries continued to hamper the player and the club was relegated in 2008.
For Owen, relegation with the club was the lowest point of his career. However, Manchester United signed the striker on a free transfer and the player went on to win the Premier League title with the club, the one title that eluded the player at Liverpool.
The former England, Liverpool and Manchester United striker, Owen called an end to his professional football career in 2013. A prolific poacher with great ability to run past defenders, Owen also won the Ballon d'Or in 2001 with Liverpool.
