#2: Manchester United 3-0 Liverpool (14 December 2014)
Another Northwest derby in the Louis Van Gaal era where the Red Devils emerged as the outright worthy winners with a 3-0 scoreline.
December is always a tough month to go through, with the heavyweights facing at least two teams from the top five in the Premier League table. Although Liverpool had 19 shots on target, it was United who dominated the game with a 55% possession.
Rooney put United in the lead inside the fifteen minutes as Old Trafford erupted with cheers and applause. Spanish playmaker was the next to be on the mark, with a controversial goal that saw the referee's decision go in United's favour.
The Flying Dutchman Robin Van Persie added to the pain as United pulled off an electrifying counter attack. Spanish shot-stopper David De Gea was their best man of the day after pulling out a couple of vital and incredible saves as Brendan Rogers' men departed with a disappointing defeat.
