Uruguay has got a beautiful history of football. It is the smallest country in the world to win FIFA tournaments. They ruled the World football during the 1920's.

They have won two gold medals in Olympics when it was World’s best tournament of football at that time. FIFA World Cup was bagged by the team twice in 1930 and 1950. They still hold the magnificent record of most medals in Copa America with fifteen championships.
Although their pride days are well gone, Uruguay is still a powerhouse of football.
