#2 Leonardo Bonucci
Leonardo Bonucci made a controversial switch to AC Milan from Juventus at the start of the 2017/18 campaign after falling out with Massimiliano Allegri and was instantly made club captain by Vincenzo Montella.
Leo arrived at Milan with the label of being the world's best defender, so the transfer came as a shock when the Bianconeri allowed him to join the Rossoneri for what was most-definitely a bargain.
The Italy international arrived for a reported fee of €42 million and had a rocky start at the club failing to live up to his former self.
The 30-year-old, however, turned things around after Gennaro Gatusso took over the reigns from Montella. The Milan skipper has formed a formidable partnership with Alessio Romagnoli, and the duo have kept things quiet for Gigio Donnarumma at the heart of the Diavolo defence.
