#1 Manchester United
Founded in 1878, Manchester United rose to early prominence when they won the domestic league title in 1908. That same year, they won the FA Community Shield and followed that with their first FA Cup victory the following year.
Their strong performances during the 1900s made sure that they cemented their legacy as one of the greatest English teams. Before 2000, they had won 12 Premier League titles, 10 FA Cup titles, and 14 FA Community Shield titles. In Europe, however, they struggled to replicate their domestic successes, and only won the 1991 Super Cup and Cup Winners Cup, having won the Champions League in 1968.
In 1999, they welcomed their second Champions League title and their first Intercontinental title. In 2008, they won their last Champions League title and their first Club World Cup title. In total, they have won 68 major trophies and remain the most decorated English football club in the world.
Their position on the all-time league table is fourth with 6295 points.
