#1 Ederson
Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson signed for City before the start of the season for a staggering £40m from Benfica. The 24-year-old has been vital and proved his worth playing every league game for City, guiding them to the league title. The keeper has replaced Claudio Bravo as the club's number one and has shown lots of courage and confidence between the sticks.
The keeper has produced some sensational saves in addition to showing great ball distribution which makes him the perfect goalkeeper for Pep Guardiola. While few believe he is better than de Gea, he is showing all signs of a great keeper and the 24-year-old is set to be the club's number one keeper for a long time.
Developing into one of the best keepers in the world, Ederson will be soon in the same bracket if not already with David De Gea, Thibaut Courtois, Manuel Neuer, Keylor Navas, and Jan Oblak. Ederson has kept 14 clean sheets this season behind only De Gea and has had an excellent impact on the Premier League and turned City's defence into a formidable force.
