Ronaldo is the all-time top scorer, all-time top assist provider and the player with most hat-tricks in the tournament; these are just a few of his records that illustrate just how much he shines at the elite European level club competition. It's not surprising then that three of his Guinness records pertain to his exploits at thi verys competition.

Ronaldo went on an unprecedented goal-scoring spree in the 2017-18 campaign with Los Blancos, scoring in 11 consecutive matches - a run that began with the final of 2016-17 season and came to an end with a last minute penalty in the quarter-final against his current side Juventus in the following campaign.

The record reads:

The most consecutive Champions League matches scored in by an individual is 11, achieved by Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) from 29 September 2017 to 11 April 2018.

Although he also holds the record for most goals scored in a single UCL season, he shares that record in the book with Radamel Falcao, under the heading of 'Most goals in a football European club competition (single season)'.

Both of the forwards managed to score 17 goals, with Falcao's record-haul coming in the 2010/11 Europa League season (with FC Porto) and Ronaldo matching the tally in the 2013/14 Champions League season with Real Madrid.
