2) Alan Shearer (2003): 10.4 seconds
One of the greatest strikers produced by the Premier League takes the 2nd spot in this list. Just 0.5 seconds behind the fastest goal in the world, this goal is the true evidence of Alan Shearer's talent and hard work. Shearer is also the top goal scorer in the Premier League with 260 goals.
The Manchester City defence directed the ball back to the goalkeeper Carlo Nash, but the keeper slipped momentarily giving Shearer a chance to close him down. Shearer did that and scored a goal just 10.04 seconds into the game.
After getting an early lead, Newcastle went on to win the game (2-0) quite comfortably against Manchester City.
