The 28-year-old Chilean is entering his final year of contract next season with rumours aplenty pointing to him being unhappy at The Emirates after their disastrous exit from the Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich. Arsenal also finished 5th in the Premier League this season, meaning they'll not feature in the Champions League for the first time in 20 years. All these factors add to the rising speculations of him leaving the club in summer.

An ambitious player, Alexis reportedly wants to join a club with which he can win silverware and quite a few suitors have been keeping close tabs on him. He has reportedly stalled discussions over a new contract and with each passing day, his exit from the club is becoming more likely. PSG and Juventus are among the outfits who have been rumoured to be willing to meet his wage demands and sign him but the frontrunners according to media reports are Bayern Munich and Manchester City

Both the clubs are looking to add depth and quality to their forward line-up and Alexis would be the perfect addition for both clubs. A fee in the range of €45-55 Million should be enough for Arsenal to let go of him to a new club next season.
