#3 - Marc Bartra

Marc Bartra left Barcelona in 2016 but could be on his way back this January as reports suggest Xavi is keen to bring him back to the club. The 30-year-old played with the Barcelona manager at Camp Nou before moving to Borussia Dortmund and eventually to Real Betis in 2018.

The defender has 18 months left on his contract, and Xavi sees him as the ideal short-term fix for his defence. The centre-backs the Barcelona manager has at his disposal right now are not of the right for his style. Bartra will however, fit in well under Xavi's footballing set-up.

If reports by SPORT are to be believed, Barcelona have already begun talks with Betis to sign the defender and are confident of getting the deal done soon.

#2 - Edinson Cavani

Barcelona need a striker more than anything right now as they are unable to score goals freely. The Catalan side had Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann with Lionel Messi alongside them, but all three have left the club.

Edinson Cavani has been linked with Barcelona and reports suggest the move is on the cards this January.

The Manchester United star is reportedly keen to move to Camp Nou and is pushing for the same. SPORT claim Barcelona have begun talks with the Red Devils and are looking for ways to sign him next month instead of waiting to get him for free next summer.

Cavani has been out of action for the last few weeks with an injury, but his time on the pitch has reduced this season after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. He played just six matches for Manchester United, scoring once.

With Sergio Aguero's sudden retirement, Barcelona are now doing all they can to get Cavani signed as his replacement.

#1 - Anthony Martial

Barcelona's search for a striker is on, and Fichajes has linked them with Anthony Martial. After failing to get significant minutes at Old Trafford, the Manchester United star is looking for a new club in January.

The Frenchman's agent has confirmed the striker is keen on leaving Manchester United, and Barcelona are looking to take advantage of it. However, Fichajes claims the Catalan side will not be able to afford a cash deal for him. Barcelona are looking to make it a swap deal with one of Ousmane Dembele, Clement Lenglet, and Philippe Coutinho on offer.

Apart from Barcelona, Juventus are also said to be keeping an eye on the striker's situation.
