Following his arrival from Torino in 2015, much was expected of Darmian. However, the Italian right-back has quickly fallen down the pecking order, with both Antonio Valencia and Ashley Young ahead of him.

He has completed 90 minutes just twice in the Premier League and crucially, has failed to earn the trust of his boss. Following his loan spell at Crystal Palace, highly-rated youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah is expected to return to the club.
Further competition for places is likely to push Darmian towards the exit, with Serie A champions Juventus reportedly interested in him.
