After all, rejecting a player who scores two matchless goals in a Champions League final hardly seems to be a prudent thing.

Gareth Bale still has a lot of class left to ooze and United could abundantly benefit from that. The Welshman can score brilliant goals, create chances with fantastic crosses and track back to defend; in short, he is the archetypal Jose Mourinho player.

Manchester United already have sung praises for a Welshman on the left and it's high time they do it for a Welshman on the right.
