#3 Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
Kevin De Bruyne has been phenomenal for Manchester City and has arguably been their most important player over the past six seasons. The Belgian international has impeccable technique and showcases incredible vision and passing range.
He also scores plenty of goals from midfield. De Bruyne scored 10 goals in 40 matches across all competitions in the 2020-21 season. In the season prior to that, he scored 16 goals in 48 appearances. The Manchester City talisman can shoot bullets with both feet.
He has scored a number of worldies from range and there are few who connect with the ball as neatly as De Bruyne does. If he is allowed the room to take a shot, the ball will make the net bulge more often than not.
De Bruyne most recently scored a peach against Denmark in the group stages of Euro 2020. It was a signature left-footed strike that gave Kasper Schmeichel absolutely no chance.
#2 Erling Haaland (Borussia Dortmund)
It's been a while since we've seen a young striker who is so confident every time he is presented with the opportunity to score. Haaland relishes being an intimidating presence in the final third and packs a dynamite of a shot in his left foot.
The 21-year-old is already one of the best strikers in the game. He is also one of the most prolific goalscorers in Europe. The Norwegian has a bit of an unorthodox style replete with marauding runs and potent strikes from in and around the area.
The Borussia Dortmund striker scored 41 goals and provided 12 assists in 41 appearances across all competitions in the 2020-21 season. He is great at producing curlers but seems to love thrashing the ball into the back of the net more than anything.
#1 Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus)
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored so many worldies in his career that it's absurd. The man has a response to every situation and his technique is simply unparalleled. The Juventus forward spends a lot of time in training perfecting his shots and it has definitely translated to goals and results on the football pitch.
Ronaldo won the first ever FIFA Puskas Award for the best goal scored in 2009 with an absolute belter. He blasted the ball into the top corner from almost 35-yards out for Manchester United against Porto in the UEFA Champions League.
He went from strength to strength during his time at Real Madrid. Ronaldo has scored some brilliant goals from range and it is down to his impeccable technique. Ronaldo injects an incredible amount of power, swerve and dip into his shots and they are a nightmare for goalkeepers to deal with.
