#3 Eduardo Camavinga
Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is attracting interest from a host of top sides in Europe, and unsurprisingly, PSG are interested in him as well. The incredibly skilful and tenacious Camavinga has often been dubbed as the next Paul Pogba because of his style.
The French midfielder observed at the end of last year that he was flattered by PSG’s interest. The Parisians may have good defensive midfield players at the moment, but Pochettino doesn’t have someone with the flair of Camavinga.
Still only 18, Camavinga has already made his senior debut for France and could turn out into a world-class player in the future. Under the tutelage of Pochettino, who has a good track record of developing young players, a move to PSG could make perfect sense for Camavinga.
#4 Sergio Aguero
With Sergio Aguero's contract at Manchester City ending this summer, PSG are reportedly interested in the player's services.
There have been talks of PSG signing Aguero on a free transfer in the summer. However, if Manchester City and the player fail to agree on a new contract soon, it could make more sense to sell the player in January.
Aguero has had several injury issues in the last year or so and hasn’t been a regular in the Manchester City team. With Gabriel Jesus impressing and the likes of Raheem Sterling, Ferran Torres and Kevin De Bruyne doing a fine job in a false nine role, Aguero’s incredible spell at Manchester City could be over.
PSG have some impressive firepower of their own, but Pochettino could use the experience of someone like Aguero in the Champions League. Like one of Pochettino’s former players Harry Kane, Aguero is a deadly finisher, and his game is not about pace.
If carefully managed, Aguero could lead PSG to the Holy Grail, something he has failed to achieve at Manchester City so far.
#5 Sergio Ramos
Sergio Ramos, another experienced player whose contract expires at the end of the season, has been linked with a move to PSG.
The Spaniard has had a hugely successful spell at the Santiago Bernabeu, and it makes sense for him to embark on an ambitious new project in France.
Ramos is the experience the PSG defence lacks at the moment after letting Thiago Silva leave last summer.
Mauricio Pochettino will want the spine of his PSG team to be strong. In that regard, there may not be too many better options than the 34-year-old, who has managed to put in some consistently good displays for Real Madrid this season.
