It is still a mystery and a surprise that how Karim Benzema has managed to make it his tenth season in Spain with Real Madrid. Though there is no doubt that is he a quality striker but in recent seasons his goalscoring form has very poor. The Frenchman has often missed open goals and has become a source of frustration.

This season it was expected that Benzema may finally be able to flourish due to the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, but instead, he still remains the same striker that he was last season. This season it has become clear that he cannot lead the line for the Los Blancos.
The former Lyon striker has been often linked with a move away from the Bernabeu and next season, it may just happen. The Los Blancos clearly need a new number 9 as they need goals to win titles, which Benzema cannot provide. Also Real Madrid can ask for a decent fee for him due to status as a star player.
If reports are believed to be Benzema already has an agreement to join PSG and Real also have identified his replacement.
