Alfredo Di Stefano was another prolific goalscorer against Barcelona. The late Argentine is one of the best players in Real Madrid history.
He scored over 300 goals for the capital club (including friendlies), with 18 of them coming against their arch-rivals Barcelona. Di Stefano held Los Blancos' record for most El Clasico goals before Cristiano Ronaldo emulated him in the 2010s.
Di Stefano won eight La Liga and an unprecedented five consecutive Champions League titles with Los Blancos in the mid-50s and mid-60s.
#2 Cristiano Ronaldo - 20 goals
Cristiano Ronaldo is widely regarded as one of the best players in the game's history.
During a prolific near two-decade-long career, he has scored over 800 goals for club and country. The 37-year-old has netted a number of goals against top clubs, including Barcelona. He has scored 20 goals against the Blaugrana in four different competitions. All but two of those strikes came during his nine-season stint at Real Madrid.
After failing to score in his first five Champions League games with Manchester United and Los Blancos, Ronaldo ended his duck against the Blaugrana in the competition in style.
The Portugal captain scored a brace in Juventus' 3-0 win at Camp Nou in a group game last season. Those goals meant he scored 14 times at the home of the Blaugrana, the most by an opposition player.
#1 Guillermo Gorostiza - 24 goals
Guillermo Gorostiza was a prolific goalscorer during his playing days in the 1930s and 1940s. He scored nearly 200 goals across competitions, most of them for Athletic Bilbao.
The six-time La Liga winner scored 24 goals against Barcelona - all in La Liga - with ten of those strikes coming with Valencia. Gorostiza netted a memorable hat-trick in Bilbao's 6-1 home win over the Blaugrana in 1933-34; Bilbao won the league that season.
Apart from his league titles, the late two-time La Liga top scorer also won five Spanish Cup titles, four of them with Bilbao.
