#3 Alan Shearer - 11 goals
Alan Shearer was the epitome of a quintessential goal machine during his playing days.
With 260 goals, Shearer is the all-time top scorer in Premier League history. The 50-year-old, an English champion with Blackburn Rovers in 1995, is the only player to score over 100 Premier League goals for two different clubs.
The Englishman scored over 350 goals in club football for three different clubs. That includes 11 strikes against Chelsea in 30 games - eight in the Premier League and three in the erstwhile First Division (before 1992-93).
Shearer's 11 goals against Chelsea came with three different clubs - Southampton (3), Blackburn Rovers (3) and Newcastle United (5).
#2 Ron Davies - 13 goals
Ron Davies was a prolific goalscorer during his playing days. Widely regarded as one of Southampton's greatest-ever players, the late Welshman scored over 150 goals for the Saints.
That includes 13 goals in 12 games against Chelsea - all in the erstwhile English First Division. The centre-forward scored four times in the Saints' 6-2 victory away at Chelsea in the 1967-68 season. Incredibly, Davies would also score a quadruple in the Saints' 4-1 victory at Manchester United two years later.
Following that quadruple effort, Davies was termed by United's then-manager Matt Busby as the 'finest centre-forward in Europe'. The two-time First Divison top scorer passed away in 2013 at the age of 70.
#1 Sergio Aguero - 15 goals
Sergio Aguero is one of the most prolific goalscorers of the last decade. With 260 goals, he is Manchester City's all-time top scorer.
The five-time Premier League winner, who retired this year due to heart arrhythmia, scored goals galore during his career. That includes 15 strikes against Chelsea - the joint-most he netted against a single club (also Newcastle United).
Aguero netted 15 times in 23 games against the Blues in four different competitions. All but two of these strikes came with City. He also scored two Premier League hat-tricks against the Blues. The second helped the Argentine go past Shearer (11) for most hat-tricks in the Premier League.
Unfortunately, the Argentine drew a blank in the biggest game of his club career, against Chelsea in the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League final.
In what was Aguero's last game for the Cityzens, the Blues won their second continental title, denying City their first. That marked an anticlimactic end to the Argentine's brilliant decade-long stint at the Etihad.
