Injury crisis is now behind the youngster

After Neymar departed Barcelona to complete a world-record deal to Paris Saint Germain in the summer of 2017, the Catalans decided to sign Borussia Dortmund starlet, Ousmane Dembele as a replacement for the Brazilian winger.

However, the French youngster had a tough start to life in his first season in Catalonia, suffering two terrible injuries that limited his impacts at his new club. Even though he later showed promising signs after his recovery, there wasn't enough time for him to integrate himself fully into the squad as Barcelona claimed the both the La Liga title and the Copa Del Rey trophy.
