#3 Patrik Schick
When rumors about Harry Kane moving to Manchester City began catching fire last summer, Patrick Schick's name was floated as a potential replacement. The Czech striker finished Euro 2020 on a high, having shared the Golden Boot with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Many had doubts about whether he would be good enough for Tottenham, which remains unknown. But Schick has been phenomenal for Bayern Leverkusen this season, ranking high among the club's best performers this season. He has been highly clinical and has led the attacking lines incredibly well.
Schick has appeared in 22 games all season and has already been involved in 21 goals with 18 strikes and three assists. His productivity in the final third, physique and finishing could make him a viable heir to Harry Kane at Tottenham if the need arises.
#2 Lautaro Martinez
Lautaro Martinez is arguably the most high profile name on the list of potential replacements to replace Harry Kane. He has previously made his intentions clear of switching to the Premier League, but a move hasn't really transpired.
The stylish Argentine has been one of Inter Milan's best players in recent times. His partnership upfront with the now-departed Romelu Lukaku was one of the main reasons for Inter's priceless Serie A win during the 2020-21 season.
Martinez's productivity has suffered a bit since Lukaku's big-money move to Chelsea but he has still been among the goals for the Nerazzurri.
In the 30 appearances he has made so far across competitions for Inter, Martinez has scored 12 times and assisted two goals. While those numbers may not definitively prove it, Martinez has what it takes to replace Harry Kane at Tottenham.
#1 Anthony Martial
Anthony Martial was acquired by Manchester United as a highly-rated teenager and enjoyed a fantastic start to his career at Old Trafford.
However, Martial's performances have been riddled with inconsistencies over the years. The Frenchman has looked unplayable at times and extremely mediocre on other occasions. Martial has been both loved and loathed by the Manchester United faithful during his tenure at the club.
Martial has the ability and the talent to beat the best of opponents but has always lacked consistency, which has been the biggest reason for his downfall. Manchester United have now shipped him on loan to Sevilla until the end of the season, where he will hope to refind some of his old form.
If Manchester United were to make a move for Harry Kane, Martial could be used as a bargaining chip. There have been signs in recent months that there's no future for him at Old Trafford. A change of scenery could revitalize his career while also solving problems for both clubs.
