With Tottenham Hotspur all set to lose Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, the arrival of Erik Lamela from Roma would definitely prove to be a welcome addition to their ranks. Another player who is capable of making an even bigger impact, is Denmark attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen of Ajax who could be a great addition in central midfield.
Another reason why the move is likely, is the fact that he has entered the final season of his contract and could therefore be available for as little as £9 million – an absolute bargain. With Spurs fancying bargains this summer, the Dane could well prove to be the answer, with Eriksen also having the ability to strike a mean dead ball. He would no doubt, add a touch of creativity to a Spurs midfield which could do with a few more nimble-footed geniuses.
