#2 Cristiano Ronaldo
The current Balon d'Or holder Cristiano Ronaldo is definitely a good candidate to be the top scorer next season. Real Madrid shocked the world after selling Ronaldo to Juventus for a hefty sum. It will be interesting to see how the star forward performs in a new league with a new team.
Although Ronaldo is 33 years old, his goal scoring ability is still impressive. He is Real Madrid's all time top scorer with a whopping 450 goals for his former club.
The Portuguese star scored 26 La Liga goals last season for Real Madrid, which is still his worst season in terms of goals since joining the Spanish club in 2009. On the other hand, at Juventus he will be looking forward to repeating his Real Madrid success.
The five time Balon d'Or winner has a total of 656 career goals, this is a gigantic tally. He has been competing on the top scorer chart with his arch-rival Lionel Messi for years. Next season he will be determined to continue the rivalry and become the top scorer of the 2018-19 season.
