The versatile right-back is capable of playing down the flanks to support his team's attack, at the same time, he is calm and confident in his play, but he has not done enough to win Mourinho's trust.
When the summer transfer window opens, the Red Devils are extremely likely to work on getting more defenders into the team. As such, he will fall further back in terms of the pecking order so, in order to play more, the Italian could be forced to make a move this summer.
After the January transfer window concluded, there had been claims that the defender will be moving to Turin. The Premier League side is said to be prepared to let him leave after agreeing that there is little chance he has a future in the team.
