#2 Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund)
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been one of the best players in the German league, since his transfer to Borussia Dortmund back in 2013. The 28-year old has remained at the club during the good moments as well as the bad ones, as the club has already lost the services of many key players, namely Mats Hummels, Ilkay Gundogan and Ousmane Dembélé.
Aubameyang was the goalscorer of the Bundesliga last season, with 31 goals - a total of 43% of Dortmund's total league goals. This season, he is already on 12 goals, and fighting with FC Bayern ace Robert Lewandowski for leadership at the top of the goal-scoring charts.
The Gabonese has a remarkable burst of pace, and is well capable of running behind defenders and attacking space, where he is absolutely deadly, as his stats suggest.
Meanwhile, Dortmund have been a total disaster this season, and are trailing behind Bayern Munich by a gap of ten points. In the UEFA Champions League, the situation was not any better, as they have been eliminated from the group stage.
Loyalty aside, Aubameyang is well-aware that he's got all what it takes to ply his trade for a side capable of winning major trophies. The sad truth for BVB fans, is that the club is, at the moment, preventing him from winning silverware.
