After scoring lots of goals for FC Porto, Atletico Madrid and AS Monaco, Falcao went on a loan to Manchester United. The expectations of 'El Tigre' were very high, because the striker became winner and top goal scorer of the Europa League two years in a row. These accomplishments gave him the nickname 'King of the Europa League'.

Unfortunately, Falcao found out that the Premier League is from a whole different level than the Europa League. After a disappointing season Manchester United did not make use of the option to buy the Colombian attacker from AS Monaco.
El Tigre scored only 4 goals in 29 fixtures for the Red Devils. Now, he still plays for AS Monaco where is the captain of the squad.
