#5 Nicolas Anelka
Throughout his illustrious career, the Frenchman has played for more than 10 clubs including Paris St Germain, Arsenal, and Real Madrid.
Joining Chelsea in 2008 from Bolton would prove to be one of the most successful spells of his nomadic career as he formed a deadly partnership with Didier Drogba and became the top goal scorer in the 2009-09 Premier League season. He also went on to win the Premier League with the Blue’s the following season.
Years before, Anelka showed glimpses of his amazing talent during his brief cameo at Anfield during 2001-02 season scoring five goals for the club in very few appearances. Liverpool had the chance of signing the Frenchman on a permanent basis at the end of that season but Gerard Houllier opted to sign El Hadji Diouf instead.
