Christensen needs to move away from Stamford Bridge to get enough playing time
Christensen was in the limelight under former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, who made him a cornerstone in his defense during his time in London. He was also a vital figure at the Stamford Bridge last season, recording a whopping 40 appearances for The Blues across all competitions during the campaign

However, with new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri favoring ball-playing defenders in his system, the Denmark International has been relegated to a bench role and former Paris Saint Germain center-back David Luiz has replaced him in the starting lineup.
At this stage of his career, it is evident that Christensen needs to play a lot of games. But, having featured in just one Premier League game for Chelsea since the beginning of the 2018-19 season, it is important for the young defender to consider his future away from the Stamford Bridge in order to continue with his steady development.
