#3 Frank Queudrue: Middlesbrough (2002-03), 3 reds
French footballer Frank Queudrue joined the Premier League in 2001 on loan to Middlesbrough from French club Lens. He then produced impressive performances at the Riverside and sealed a permanent deal the following season and went on play a further six seasons at Boro.
During his time at Boro, he won the League Cup and was a runner-up in the UEFA Cup final in 2006.
However, the Frenchman became only the third player in Premier League history to get dismissed three times in a single season in his first full year at the club. Known for his set-piece ability and robust tackling, Queudrue was a versatile defender who preferred the left back role.
Fulham and Chris Coleman came calling in 2006 and the Frenchman opted to move to West London for a season and the moved to Birmingham City.
