Antonio Conte wanted to sign a tall striker in the summer and last January. However, he has not managed to sign Fernando Llorente – the player he was chasing for so long.
WIth Edinson Cavani available, Chelsea might try to sign him once again. The Blues were interested in signing him in 2012 as well but the player opted to join Paris Saint-Germain instead.
Cavani might also want to try his hand in the Premier League and might follow Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the Premier League. The Uruguayan can be the striker who finally allows Antonio Conte to unveil his 3-5-2 formation at Stamford Bridge.
