#3 West Bromwich Albion
West Bromwich Albion recently sacked Tony Pulis after a string of poor performances and replaced the manager with former Newcastle and Crystal Palace gaffer Alan Pardew. An attacking minded manager, Pardew will look to reverse the poor start and push up the table and steer clear of the bottom three.
West Brom currently sit in 16th place, a couple of points off the drop zone, 14 games into the season and the addition of Cahill to their ranks will significantly boost their survival bid.
In his second last year of his contract at Chelsea, the central defender could be eased out of the club to make space for a younger, quicker defender. As the 31-year-old comes to the end of his career with Chelsea, the Baggies could be the perfect fit for the English player provided they stay up.
Pardew's first task will be to keep the club up and part of the plan will be to establish a strong back line which could be improved with the addition of Cahill.
