#2 Thomas Tuchel
Tuchel has been out of management since parting ways with Borussia Dortmund in May 2017 after a fallout with the club's hierarchy. The German manager had two successful seasons at Signal Iduna Park guiding Borussia Dortmund to 68 wins, 23 draws while losing only 17 matches in charge.
Thomas Tuchel was tasked with restoring Dortmund's BuLi dominance after the club missed out on Champions League qualification as they finished 7th in their previous campaign. Tuchel revitalized the team and guided Dortmund to a second place finish and reached the finals of DFB Pokal Cup where they lost to their arch-rivals Bayern Munich on penalties.
Tuchel guided Dortmund to his only silverware as manager in his second and last season in charge at Signal Iduna Park where they won DFB Pokal by defeating Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 in the finals. Dortmund finished third in the league behind winners Bayern Munich and Bundesliga surprise package RB Leipzig.
Thomas Tuchel's 8-year experience managing in Bundesliga with Mainz 05 and Borussia Dortmund makes him an ideal choice to take over at the helm for the Bavarians and continue with the club's success.
