5 Premier League players who may play starring roles at the 2018 FIFA World Cup

England v Italy - International Friendly
Premier League star, Jamie Vardy celebrates a goal for England

#2 Mohamed Salah(Liverpool & Egypt)

Portugal v Egypt - International Friendly
Mohamed Salah will carry Egypt on his shoulders during the World Cup.

Mohamed Salah is in sensational form this season. There are not many players better than him in football right now and has been compared to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

He joined Liverpool in the summer transfer window of 2017 and has scored 28 PL goals in 30 games since his move. His pace and ability to take on defenders has proven handy this season and even the established defenders in the PL have found it difficult to cope with the Egyptian.

Egypt qualified for the World Cup after 27 years and Mo Salah played an important part in that. He was the top goal-scorer in their group and had scored a last minute penalty in a vital match against Congo.

Mohamed Salah won the African Footballer of the Year award for 2017. He has scored 33 goals in 57 appearances for Egypt so far and will be looking forward to achieving greater things with his national team at the World Cup.
