Blackburn Rovers v Manchester United - Premier League
Ryan Giggs has recorded the most assists in the history of the Premier League so far, registering 162. Next up on the list is Cesc Fabregas, who is also the nearest active player, with 111 assists. But the Spaniard is not playing regularly at Chelsea and it is highly unlikely that he will come within touching distance of the record.

The next active player on the list is James Milner of Liverpool, who is on 80, followed by David Silva at 77. However, even though Silva has been magnificent, the Spaniard is running out of time and reaching 162 might be out of the realms of possibility, even for his abilities. Surprisingly, Manchester United's Ashley Young is the next active player on the list, at 13th position, with 68 assists to his name.
As such, this is one record that might stay with Ryan Giggs for a long, long time and it would take a genius of the highest qualities to break this one.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
