After spending 22 years at Barcelona, the club legend, Andres Iniesta finally decided to end his relationship with the La Liga giants, completing a famous move to join Japanese club, Vissel Kobe in May. Although it was the end of an era at the Camp Nou, Iniesta's departure could also mark the beginning of another era in the Catalan capital.

With the Spaniard now gone, the Blaugrana are working hard in the transfer market as they work towards signing a world-class midfielder to replace him. They have reportedly identified Tottenham Hotspur superstar, Christian Eriksen as the perfect option to strengthen their team in that area of the pitch.
This comes as a great opportunity for the Dane to take the next step in his career. Eriksen would be a fine replacement for Iniesta, with his decent passing, fantastic vision and the ability to control the game from the middle of the pitch similar to that of the Barca legend.
The Dane can also add a new dimension to Barcelona's midfield, using his pace, physicality and his incredible ability to shoot from distance.
