This is as safe a bet that you can make at the moment in world football. A number of reasons give us optimism and the courage to make such a bold prediction. but we're almost certain that the reality, come the end of the season, will reflect the same.
With the quarter finals almost a matter of formality now for the Catalans - after they blew away their competition in the first leg - we delve into the highly possible scenario of another Champions League title for the side from Spain and five reasons why that might happen.
#5 Barcelona have remained unbeaten all season long, both the league and in Europe
Few teams have been able to keep pace with Ernesto Valverde's side this season. Barcelona remain the only team in Europe who is still unbeaten in their respective league.
Initially Manchester City, under former Barca manager Pep Guardiola, threatened to steal all the plaudits after a blistering start o the campaign and a similarly impressive middle of the season.
However, the past week has resulted in two major setbacks for the City manager, which has resulted in his former side regaining all the attention of the world football.
A team that doesn't know how to get beaten is s team of champions. But a team that actually doesn't end up losing even a single game for the entirety of the campaign is a team of legends.

#4 Rakitic has moulded his game to suit the Barca style of play
Ivan Rakitic enjoyed a brilliant first season with the Catalans as he went on to win the treble in his debut season.
The second season was tangentially different, as Barcelona failed to pick up any major accolades with their rivals Real Madrid doing the double over them - including retaining the Champions League in the first time in history.
That set off the alarm-bells at Camp Nou and the press started attacking the new entrants into the team with Ivan taking a fair share of the blame, as Barca looked out of sorts in midfield for the majority of the season.
Following a couple of failures the performances of the Croat started coming under further scrutiny and the fact that he failed to link up with Messi, or simply function at his wavelength, hurt his case even more when he failed to do his defensive duties in the side.
The Croation has showed his class and intelligence this season, by firstly admitting that he will not be able to affect the offensive side of things in a team dominated by superstars. He has then gone on to change his game and focus on other ball-winning and tackling aspects of the game.
He has been a revelation ever since and has been a sturdy presence in the middle of the park, winning the ball back almost as often and professionally as Busquets does it, which is why that even in the latter's absence in the side, Rakitic has been vital in the unbeaten run that his side currently enjoys.
#3 Lack of a meaningful challenge from fellow contenders
With Real having knocking out both Juventus(almost) and PSG, and Liverpool doing the same with Manchester City as have Sevilla with Manchester United, the competition in Europe's most elite competition has all fallen by the way-side.
In such a scenario, armed with the knowledge of knowing how to beat Zidane's Madrid - having beaten them 0-3 at the Bernabeu in the league already, Barcelona will have to fancy themselves to go all the way with only their el-classico rivals seemingly with the fire-power to stop them.
Bayern Munich have seen an uptick in results since Heynckes took over again, but looked aged and leaden-footed when compared to the side from Spain. The Germans were also incredibly lucky to come away with a lead from the second leg in Sevilla, when the hosts were undoubtedly the better side and failed to put away a number of very presentable opportunities.
With Klopp's Liverpool - who have all but guaranteed themselves a place in the semis - making up the final four, we see the Catalans emerging as favourites to lift the trophy.
#2 Suarez has broken his duck in the Champions League at long last
The striker has been longing to open his account in Europe this whole season and he finally got his wish against the Italians in the closing moments of the 90.
The Uruguayan had gone 392 days in Europe without getting one, but will now be eager to get on with his usual business of scoring goals left, right and centre. Barcelona will also be hoping that Suarez does so because the burden of all the goal-scoring has been firmly placed on the shoulders of his South American partner.
The inability to score has cost the Catalans as own-goals have been the second-best avenue of goals for them in Europe, but with Suarez opening his account in the Champions League you will have to back the striker to go on and get a few more.
#1 G.O.A.T
The Messiah of world football is on his game and has been instrumental in keeping his side's campaign on track.
The stage was set up for the Argentine to weave his magic in the first leg, after his Portuguese nemesis had done the same against Juventus just a night before.
However, despite a convincing win and four goals on the night for Barcelona, Messi failed to find the back of the net on the night. Unfortunately for the rest of the competition in Europe that is only going to will him on further to find it in the remainder of the campaign.
How do you stop this man? You can't. Which is why we feel it is going to take a super-human effort to stop this super-hero, in the red and blue for the Catalans, from taking them all the way this time around.
