#1. Pure individual ability
Real Madrid are the kind of team that buy players who can produce something out of nothing. Both Aguero and Aubameyang are great goalscorers but one relies only on his instinct and speed while the other can fashion something out of the blue.
Aguero is great dribbler, and that ability comes in handy when he is in the box. He can wriggle his way out of a tough spot and still manage to score when the odds are stacked up against him.

The same probably cannot be said of Aubameyang who relies on his speed to break defensive lines to latch onto through balls. We have seen Aguero’s individual ability shine through on so many occasions in the past.
The goal that won City their first ever Premier League title showcased this exact quality of Aguero. He had more than a little to do after Balotelli set him up but he kept his calm feinted one opponent before slotting it past the keeper.
Given how Ronaldo needs players around him that can create and link up well in his new role Aguero fulfills that criteria but there are still question marks over Aubameyang.
