#2 Ballon d’Or
The Ballon d’Or has been a two-horse race in the recent past as both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have left very little space for a third player to enter in this competition. Also, the La liga has been the center stage when it comes to Ballon d’Or winners.
With Ronaldo moving to Juventus, it is difficult to predict as to how he will fare in the Serie A and even if he does well there, someone has the opportunity to do well with Real Madrid.
Madrid need someone to spearhead the attack and Eden Hazard could just be that player. With Messi at Barcelona, Hazard would be directly compared to the Argentine superstar, indirectly creating an opening to stand a chance to win the Ballon d’Or. It is a very exciting prospect for Hazard which should lure him to join Madrid.
